21st Century Technologies adds Konet

One of Africa’s leading ICT powerhouses, 21st Century Technologies Limited has unwrapped a new solution christened Konet, a customisable communication tool for large size, small and medium organizations.

Konet is Nigeria’s first wholly home-grown business collaboration tool, a technology suite that empowers individuals, small medium enterprises (SMEs), including startups and large businesses to become more productive online.  A veritable window to keep business going as COVID-19 bites and organizations keep their physical business space under locks , Konet offers voice, video, live chat, file sharing with brand customization among other features that allow organizations to stay on the go.

Konet hopes to tap into the global web virtual conferencing market valued in excess of USD12.58 billion for 2020 and projected to reach USD 19.02 billion by 2025.

The Konet platform was designed to help businesses particularly ​SMEs work round the limitations imposed by the COVID-19  pandemic. “This will help Nigeria as a country to rebuild the damaged economy being caused by COVID-19 pandemic”, said Ajisebutu whose company has been in the forefront of providing connectivity tools for hundreds of companies in the last two decades.

Konet allows businesses to create a workspace and add their team members to the space. The platform is free to use for individuals and organizations till October 2020, Payment will be required after the free period to continue using Konet.

The app has the conference call functionality that is available on apps like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Like Slack, free versions with limited features will be available with the option to upgrade at a fee of N1, 000 for additional features.
