The federal government has ordered immediate investigation into the fire incident that gutted parts of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) headquarters yesterday in Abuja.
Mostly affected by the early morning fire is the second floor of the building located in Garki.
With the latest fire incident at NIPOST, there are now five government agencies that have recorded similar incidents in six months.
The others are the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), some offices at the Accountant General’s Office and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) all of which occurred last month April.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) office also in Abuja was engulfed in fire last October.
