Chief Executive Officer of Fintrak Software Limited, Bimbo Abioye, is the new president of Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON), the industry professional body for indigenous software developers and practitioners in Nigeria.

Abioye will lead the new executives manage ISPON from2023 to 2025.

Elected at the ISPON Conference and Extraordinary General Meeting that held in Lagos, the elected officials include:

1st Vice President, Mrs. Fatumata Soukouna-Coker; General Secretary, Efe Emore; Treasurer, Raymond Osumah; Chair, Policy & Strategy Committee, Dr. Uche Mbanaso; Chair, Diaspora Committee, Prof. Yakub Aliyu; Chair, Media & Publicity Committee, Uzo Nwani; Chair, Education & Capacity Building Committee, Peter Ogedengbe; and Chair, Membership Committee, Israel Olakanmi.

Abioye, an accountant  and IT executive with vast working experience in the information technology and services industry, takes over from Chinenye Mba-Uzoukwu, the immediate past president.

Abioye was recently voted amongst Nigeria’s Top 50 Digital Economy Enablers at the prestigious IT Edge News.Africa industry-managed event.

Fintrak, an indigenous financial software (Fintech) organisation, has provided milestone indigenous software and banking solutions to many banks in Nigeria. It is regarded as one of Nigeria’s major digital economy drivers.

Abioye holds an MBA in information technology from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He is skilled in risk management, enterprise software, data warehousing, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and management consulting, Abioye is a strong business development professional.
