AfriLabs, the largest network of technology and innovation hubs across Africa has admitted 23 new hubs into its network making it a total of 123 hubs across 34 African countries. This has extended its reach to four new countries namely Lesotho, Burundi, Mozambique and Sudan.

AfriLabs is a pan-African network of 123 technology innovation hubs in 34 African countries. AfriLabs was founded in 2011 to build a community around the rapidly emerging tech hubs in Africa. Each hub serves as a nexus for entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, tech companies and web/mobile engineers in its community who are set to build the innovation economy across Africa.

The 23 new members of the AfriLabs are:

Once a year, all member hubs and other stakeholders come together during the AfriLabs Annual Gathering to meet, network and deliberate on important issues that affect the ecosystem and Africa in general in a bid to come up with innovative solutions to Africa’s most pressing challenges and foster collaboration.
