The international Femprenership Workshop is coming to Nigeria. Sprinters, the three day hackathon, plans global expansion, launching their next program in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria.  The first event will be held in Lagos from July 31 to August 2, 2017, the second one in Abuja from August 4 to 6. The 3-day Hackathon , Femprenership Workshop, is designed to support more women in the world of technology and entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurship development training will also encourage attitude change to show women that being a female leader is not scary and is open for everyone.

“Sprinters Global are coming to Nigeria to host a program to support women in technology and entrepreneurship. I am their strategic partner for Nigeria,” said startup promoter, Mohammed Ibrahim Jega to officially announce plans for the event in the country.

Sprinters, Femprenership Workshop, comes to Lagos, Abuja

An impressive entourage of speakers will share their know-how with the participants. Confirmed are Eniola Mafe, Programs Manager at DNPI who was named one of the 99 most influential foreign policy leaders under the age of 33, by Diplomatic Courier and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy in 2011 and one of the 13 Young African Business/Economic Leaders to watch in 2013 by Ventures Africa Magazine; and Patrick Gaincko, CEO & Founder of the GainXperience, speaker and adviser to internationally established companies on market entry, growth strategy, consumer trends monitoring, and market opportunity identification. Gaincko has been a speaker at several international events, including the Harvard Africa Business Conference(USA), as well as the Made in Africa Week at Microsoft New York (USA).

Others speakers are Tosin Durotoye, an entrepreneur with extensive knowledge in grant management and community development;  Chibuikem Agbaegbu, an entrepreneur, researcher and renewable energy advocate with strong knowledge and experience in the renewable energy industry on an international level, pushing for innovation in the clean energy sector, and Ify Malo, a qualified attorney, founder of Power For All in Nigeria and CEO of Clean Tech Hub and the Energy Innovation Center, Abuja with an extensive background in policy and strategy development. Many other speakers are expected to join The Sprinters Experience.

With a successful track record in Europe, India and North Africa, Sprinters already trained more than 100 female pre- and early stage entrepreneurs and is now coming to Nigeria.
