NITDA offers Startups a chance to pitch for business at Gitex

– Here’s how to apply

Startups in Nigeria have a chance to  participate in the Gitex 2016 STARTUP MOVEMENT and pitch for the one million dollar prize at the technology trade show billed to hold in Dubai in November.

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) will be sponsoring 15 to 17 startups to the global startups event that will be attracting over 400 startups in addition to the over 150, 000 trade visitors from more than 150 countries expected to attend the 5-day event.

Application opens till midnight of May 19, 2016.

At the end of the closure of the application on 19 May, winning startups will be presented to the Startup sub-committee of the  Nigeria@Gitex 2016 Local Organising Committee (LOC) inaugurated last week by the acting Director General of the NITDA, Dr Vincent Olatunji.

The 15 to 17 startups must have unique tech-driven solutions/businesses that address the themes of Gitex.
