The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has formally unveiled the Address Verification System (AVS) and other digital products to mark the 2017 World Post Day and kick-start its own re-invention to become more responsive to a market that has been altered by technology trends. Apart from the AVS, NIPOST also unveiled the International Postal Service Track and Trace System, Mobile Electronic Stamp, and a new suite of financial inclusive services targeting Nigeria’s vast population in the rural areas.

NIPOST plans to meet current demands of customers and to make the post viable with the collaboration of other government agencies like the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the private sector, said Postmaster-General Mr. Bisi Adegbuyi in Abuja yesterday.
