Available in all sizes from Q2 2026, the new SQ3 Series is designed for always-on applications. It offers high-visibility 4K performance and reliable 24/7 operation across diverse professional environments.
Part of Panasonic’s Broader MEVIX Strategy
The introduction of the SQ3 Series aligns with Panasonic’s broader plan to strengthen and expand its MEVIX offering across projection, LCD, and LED technologies.
By consistently refreshing its product line-up, Panasonic aims to support organisations with scalable, fit-for-purpose visual solutions that address the evolving needs of workplaces, public spaces, and vertical markets ranging from retail and education to corporate and security operations.
Built for Always-On, High-Visibility Applications
As digital environments become more demanding, organisations increasingly require display solutions that combine visual impact with reliability and ease of integration. The SQ3 Series is engineered to meet these needs. It delivers a balance of performance, flexibility, and operational efficiency—particularly in settings where continuous operation is critical.
Featuring 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, the displays provide sharp, detailed image reproduction for digital signage, meeting rooms, control rooms, and monitoring applications. Support for 4K/60p signals ensures smooth video playback, while a 25% haze anti-glare treatment minimises reflections in brightly lit environments.
Flexible Sizes and Panel Technologies
The SQ3 Series is available in six sizes—86, 75, 65, 55, 50, and 43 inches—allowing it to adapt seamlessly to a wide range of spaces. They range from large-format retail displays and corporate boardrooms to classrooms, corridors, and security monitoring rooms.
Larger models (65-inch and above) utilise Advanced Super Dimensional Switch (ADS) panels, providing wide viewing angles with consistent brightness and colour accuracy. The 55-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch models are equipped with Vertical Alignment (VA) panel technology for strong contrast and image depth.
Installation and Energy Efficiency Features
Installation flexibility is enhanced with tilt support of up to 20 degrees forward and backward, enabling a broader range of mounting configurations.
To help reduce operational costs, the displays include a built-in signal-detection function. It automatically powers the display on or off based on input activity, minimising unnecessary energy consumption in always-on environments.
Seamless Integration and Remote Management
For simplified integration into existing AV systems, the SQ3 Series features:
- Three HDMI™ inputs with HDMI™ CEC functionality
- HDCP 2.2 support across all HDMI inputs
- Compatibility with RS-232C and PJLink™ for remote monitoring and control
These capabilities make the displays well suited for centrally managed deployments, reducing operational workload and improving system efficiency.
Panasonic: Focused on Scalable, Future-Ready Displays
Commenting on the launch, Hartmut Kulessa, Head of Marketing at Panasonic Projector and Display EMEA, said the SQ3 Series reflects Panasonic’s commitment to real-world customer needs.
“While this range is focused on delivering reliable, high-quality performance for everyday applications, it also plays an important role within our broader strategy to provide a complete and scalable ecosystem across display technologies,” he said.
Kulessa added that Panasonic will continue expanding its portfolio with innovations such as upcoming touch-enabled displays. It will be able to support professional environments now and in the future.
Driving the Next Phase of Professional Visual Solutions
With the launch of the SQ3 Series, Panasonic further positions its MEVIX portfolio as a robust, flexible, and future-proof solution. This is useful for organisations seeking dependable 4K displays capable of continuous operation in demanding professional settings.
