The Federal Ministry of Interior has officially launched a new Online Citizenship and Business Management Portal, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria’s drive toward e-governance and digital transformation. The platform is part of broader public sector reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, made the announcement over the weekend in Abuja, emphasizing that the digital initiative is designed to improve service delivery, reduce processing time, and ensure a seamless experience for users across the country.

The newly launched platform provides a centralized digital interface for handling all citizenship and business-related applications. This includes requests for:
- Naturalization and citizenship documentation
- Business permits and expatriate quota applications
- Other administrative services under the purview of the Ministry
According to Dr. Ajani:
“This initiative forms a key part of the Ministry’s ongoing reforms aimed at promoting transparency, enhancing operational efficiency, and significantly improving service delivery to the public.”
