Social messaging app, BBM Messenger has partnered with the world’s leading hotel price comparison site, HotelsCombined, to offer BBM users seamless search of the best hotel booking sites in order to find the lowest possible rate on a hotel deal while chatting with friends and family on the platform.
According to the company who made this known through a statement, the partnership will afford users of BBM Messenger in over 55 countries to easily search and book their next vacation or business accommodation without leaving the BBM environment.
Also, with the one-click BBM Share feature, users will be able to share their favourite hotels or the best hotel deals which willenable instant coordination among BBM contacts to discuss the best prices, preferences or favourites when planning travels.
Its worthy of note that as technology is converging, mobile travel bookings is increasingly gaining traction with about 44% of the world population estimated to own a smartphone while the rate of desktop/laptop travel booking is gradually diminishing as mobile is ubiquitous and easily accessible.

Users will be able to access the service by locating the Discover Menu icon at the top right side of BBM Messenger. Other services that could be found on the Discover Menu include Uber, Event Tickets, News, Discover TV, Money Transfer, Quickteller Airtime Top-up amongst other services.
