Smartphone brand TECNO has launched a series of immersive AI pop-up stores and fan zones in Rabat and Casablanca for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025.

This activation, part of its “Power Your Moment” campaign, is designed to bring AI-powered smartphone innovation directly to football fans and consumers throughout the tournament.

TECNO has established two flagship TECNO AI pop-up stores near major stadiums in each city. These are not traditional retail spaces but interactive experience centers.
Visitors can test AI-enhanced features for photography, gaming, and productivity on large screens and demo stations. Interactive installations, like a team jersey swap and a “Champions Road” matchup wall, blend technology with football fandom, encouraging social sharing and personalization.
Open-Access Fan Zones Foster Community Engagement
Complementing the pop-ups are two open-access fan zones in public parks, freely available to all. These community hubs feature relaxed product discovery areas, free photo printing, and football skill challenges like juggling stations.
The focus is on shared experience and community, moving beyond transactions to create vibrant gathering points on match days.

By activating in both major cities and scheduling special events—like live performances on key dates—TECNO ensures a continuous presence throughout AFCON.
