Startups to learn ways of scaling at 18th CFA

A number of reports put Nigeria as Africa’s number one startup investment destination in 2018, beating both South Africa and Kenya. Yes, it is good to seek investments for expansion, but what is the guarantee that many of these startups would be available in another five years?

The theme of the 18th Edition of CFA’s Startups Hangout is, “From Startup to Scale up: The whole 9 Yards”. This was thought out by the team, against the backdrop of majority of startups failing and packing up within the first five years of their existence, with many not making it to the 5th anniversary of their commencement of business.

Two seasoned entrepreneurs have been invited as guest speakers, to help attendees on the right track, as far as scaling up is concerned. They are Managing Partner, StarTeam Consult, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, who is also the co-founder/Founding CEO, Neimeth Pharmaceuticals Plc and most recently elected as the president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and Founder, Naija Startups, Aramide Abe.

CFA’s Startups Hangout is a forum where start-ups gather from time to time, to learn from seasoned, successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives, with a view to learning how to grow their businesses, as well as networking and synergising with others, in order to deepen the sustenance of their ventures, while adding value to the economy in general.
