What kind of IT solutions does Tranter IT provide through ManageEngine?
Through our partnership with ManageEngine, we provide over 60 enterprise-grade IT solutions, but the most widely adopted are in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). Today, more than 50% of Nigeria’s largest enterprise companies are using ManageEngine. In terms of real-world impact, many organizations use our solutions to manage their help desk tickets, incident responses, and IT events. This boosts internal productivity by reducing downtime—employees get quick support when systems fail or apps are inaccessible. Imagine a public institution with 12,000 to 15,000 employees. If 30% of them are dealing with unresolved IT issues, your organizational productivity can drop significantly. That affects not just internal operations but also public-facing services, causing delays and inefficiencies in service delivery.
“Government institutions need more than just hardware. They need intelligent IT management. That’s what we’re here to provide” — Ayoola.
How does endpoint management improve productivity and data security?
Endpoint management is essential—especially for roaming employees who work in the field, like those from agencies such as the Ministry of Environment or Lassa control teams. These workers often use tablets or smartphones provided by their departments. With ManageEngine, you can track, secure, and manage these devices remotely. You ensure the hardware is used strictly for its intended purpose, block access to unauthorized apps, and even remotely shut down devices if you suspect a data breach. This protects both the employee and the agency’s sensitive information. Additionally, endpoint management allows organizations to quickly deploy new systems to new hires or across departments in multiple states. This is especially valuable in large public institutions where staff strength is massive and geographically distributed.
Growing desire for digital transformation in government MDAs
What has the response from the government sector been so far?
The response has been fantastic. For this year’s event, we invited over 160 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). We recorded over 446 individual registrations, which speaks volumes about the interest and growing recognition of the need for digital transformation in government. There’s a clear appetite within government to automate, secure, and optimize IT systems, especially as the country continues its digital journey.
What’s the long-term vision for Tranter IT and ManageEngine in Nigeria?
Our long-term vision is to become a key enabler of digital governance in Nigeria and across West Africa. By equipping government institutions with the right tools to manage their IT infrastructure, we’re helping them become more efficient, responsive, and citizen-focused. We believe technology should empower governance, not complicate it. Our goal is to make IT automation simple, scalable, and secure—whether it’s managing endpoints, service desks, compliance, or cybersecurity. Nigeria has the potential to lead the continent in digital governance, and we’re proud to be part of that journey. Tranter IT’s partnership with ManageEngine demonstrates how collaborative innovation can drive real change. From improving internal workflows to ensuring faster, more secure services to the public, their solutions are helping shape a smarter future for Nigeria’s government institutions.
