Infinix Mobility, an OEM in Nigeria has announced the release of its super sound dynamic smartphone, Hot 5 and Hot 5 lite in an unveiling ceremony at the Lagos City Hall Cinema. The new device, known as “Cinematic phone,” is marketed with the theme: My mobile cinema.” The new device is targeted at lovers of entertainment and mobile games.
The Hot 5 smartphone is riding on the hugely successful Hot 4 released last year. Hot 5 is targeted at mid-range users and loaded with premium features like dual-front speakers, Dirac 3D Stereos that would give users studio sound and acoustic experience.
Communication Manager of Infinix Nigeria, Olamide Amosu said “the Hot 5 and Hot 5 lite are set to up the scale of mobile entertainment for the Nigerian populace. They are capacitated to deliver a top notch audio-visual appeal and change the general feeling about watching movies and mobile phones. Loaded with 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM, the phone has enough room to do more.”
Hot 5 and Hot 5 lite come with clearer, wider and riche screens that display images to details. Infinix Hot 5 is designed for entertainment, whether games or movies. Hot 5 have the latest biometrics security, with the unlocking time of 0.2 seconds! Hot 5 is loaded with soft light feature and powered by an 8MP back camera.
“With the advanced lens, people will wonder why Infinix introduced a phone with lesser mega pixel. We did it because of the advanced technology we have put in the phone,” said Product Development Manager, Eric Philips.

The OEM made the phone available with a pocket friendly price of N37, 500 (retail price). However, the HOT 5 lite would be available at the retail price of N32, 000. The device is available at Jumia and Slot outlets nationwide.
