The 2024 Budget of Anambra State is gearing up to be a game-changer with the recent launch of the User Acceptability Test Training for a new Budget Automation System organized by the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning with supervisory support from the Anambra State ICT Agency.
The highlights of one of the policy thrusts and priorities for the 2024 budget of Anambra state include data-driven decision-making, leveraging technology, transparency and accountability.
According to the Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, the ICT agency is enthrusted with the task of driving Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s “Everything Technology and Technology Everywhere’ vision, and will do doubt, play a pivotal role in this 2024 budget implementation.”
He said with the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, working together with the State ICT Agency and the “collective efforts of the government and all its partners, Anambra State is set to achieve remarkable strides in 2024 and beyond. The future is digital, and Anambra is ready to seize it.”
