AfriLabs; the largest pan-African network of technology and innovation centers across Africa will be collaborating with IBM to expand digital skills across AfriLabs 123 innovation hubs across 34 countries in Africa.

The IBM Digital Nation Africa (D – NA) programme is supporting African youth to gear up for a smart world through education, empowerment and employment. aims to IBM’s D-NA programme provides free access to tools that provide digital skills to users free of charge. The AfriLabs network of hubs with communities of startup founders, and developers will be working with IBM to further expand IBM’s D – NA program.

AfriLabs is a pan-African network of 100 technology innovation hubs across 30 African countries. AfriLabs  supports innovations across African countries in order to raise successful entrepreneurs that will create jobs and develop innovative solutions to African problems.

The D – NA cloud-based learning and enablement, provides digital competency and nurtures innovation in Africa. The platform communicates with the user to build a profile, gives an overview of the current job market and suggests multiple learning paths: Explorer, Innovator and New Collar. paths.

The programme is being rolled out across the African continent.
