The report establishes a long-term framework for measuring value as a global technology company deeply rooted in emerging markets. More importantly, charting its evolution from a ride-hailing service to a multi-service digital ecosystem.

Empowering Local Economies: Over $4 Billion Earned by Partners

A core pillar of Yango’s impact is economic empowerment. In 2024 alone, partner drivers and couriers earned over USD 4 billion through its platforms. Its extensive network now supports 6,000 businesses, 2.1 million drivers, and 600,000 couriers, with 40% of delivery users being SMEs that rely on Yango to reach customers and scale.

Building the Digital Cities of Tomorrow with Technology and Talent

The report outlines how Yango’s technology simultaneously strengthens urban ecosystems and prepares future talent. From piloting electric mobility in Côte d’Ivoire to enabling digital commerce for merchants, Yango actively supports sustainable urban development.

A major focus is investing in the next generation. Through four flagship STEM education initiatives, including the Yango Fellowship and smart-city hackathons across Africa, the company is equipping thousands of young people with critical digital skills in data science, machine learning, and entrepreneurship, with a special emphasis on empowering young women in tech.

A Holistic Commitment: Community and Cultural Inclusion

Beyond economics and education, Yango’s commitment extends to community and culture. The report highlights digital inclusion programs for visually impaired students in Angola, support for youth sports academies, and public art projects, reflecting a philosophy that technological progress must advance hand-in-hand with social inclusion and cultural preservation.

“Our goal is to help build the digital cities and digital opportunities of tomorrow — together with the countries we serve,” said Daniil Shuleyko, CEO of Yango Group.
