Bridging Traditional Banking and Crypto Liquidity

Under the partnership, B2C2 will provide its institutional clients—including asset managers, hedge funds, corporates and family offices—with future direct connectivity to Standard Chartered’s banking rails and world-class settlement facilities.

This structure is designed to deliver a seamless, institutional-grade experience by combining regulated banking services with high-quality digital asset liquidity.

By enabling B2C2’s clients to access Standard Chartered’s global banking network, the partnership helps bridge traditional finance and the crypto ecosystem. It reduces friction in fiat-to-crypto flows while enabling faster, more reliable and efficient settlement processes.

Focus on Regulation, Scale and Risk Management

Luke Boland, Head of Fintech, Asia at Standard Chartered, said the partnership reflects the bank’s strategic focus on building trusted digital asset infrastructure.

“As digital assets move from the periphery to the core of global finance, we are enabling regulated, scalable market linkage without compromising execution or risk management,” Boland said.

Building Durable Connectivity Between Finance and Crypto

Thomas Restout, Group CEO of B2C2, described Standard Chartered as a natural partner for the firm’s next phase of growth.

“Standard Chartered’s global reach, strong regulatory credentials and commitment to digital assets make it an ideal strategic counterpart as we continue to expand our institutional footprint. Together, we are building a durable connectivity layer between traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem,” Restout said.

Strengthening the Digital Asset Market Infrastructure

The partnership underscores a broader trend of collaboration between established global banks and specialist crypto firms, as the industry moves toward more mature, compliant and scalable digital asset market infrastructure.
