Simwood, a UK-based software-defined carrier, has launched a new generation of Conversational AI Agents. The new solution is designed for telecommunications carriers and managed service providers (MSPs).

This white-label solution enables partners to deploy, scale, and monetize AI-powered voice and messaging services. The new offering is transforming traditional customer interactions.
Seamless Integration and Enhanced Call Control
The AI agents are configurable via an intuitive portal or API and can register directly as PBX extensions on any UCaaS platform, allowing true on-net integration.
They are built to replace or augment legacy IVR systems, handling queries in real-time while enabling curated call transfers to appropriate human teams for secure handoffs. The platform uses pre- and post-call webhooks to integrate seamlessly into existing CRM and business workflows.
Advanced AI with On-Net Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
Simwood has enhanced conversation quality with improved turn-taking detection that understands context rather than silence gaps, ensuring low-latency responses.
A key differentiator is its upgraded on-net Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, which frequently indexes partner content to provide agents with up-to-date, context-aware information. Agents can also perform live web searches to improve response accuracy.
A Secure, API-First Platform for Global Partners
The solution combines the speed of SaaS with the reach of carrier-grade infrastructure, making advanced AI accessible worldwide. It delivers real-time speech intelligence, including natural language processing. Others are transcription, summarization, and call scoring—all securely delivered over Simwood’s global network.
“AI is the future of voice. With our Conversational AI, we’re handing partners the power to create real-time, intelligent voice experiences directly at the carrier layer,” said Charles Chance, CTO at Simwood.
Availability and Future Roadmap
Currently available for beta testing, the platform is slated for full commercial release in Q1 2026. It enables partners to rapidly launch new services, scale globally, and adapt to evolving customer needs through an API-first, opex-based model.
