The new redesigned Nokia 3310 has been launched into the Nigerian market after its first ever relaunch to the world in February at the 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Nokia’s comeback is filling a 17 years vacuum after the iconic handset went into extinction.

We’ve worked really hard with our teams around the world to bring together world-class manufacturers, operating systems, and technology partners, enabling us to proudly start sales of our the Nokia 3310, a classic reimagined,” he added.

The device which is available in dual SIM variants and also in four distinctive colours of Warm Red and Yellow; both endowed with a glossy case finishing, and Dark Blue and Grey; both endowed also with a matte design case finishing is priced in the market at 18,000 Naira.

Other new features of the phone are 115.6 x 51.0 x 12.8mm dimensions, 2.4in display, Multi-colored display screen, a 2Mpxl camera with LED flash, 1,200mAh power pack, Micro SD card support up to 32GB, up to 31.0 days of standby and up to 22.1 hours of talk time.

Before its extinction, Nokia 3310 was the global totem for the mobile phone. Rugged with a distinct efficiency, the phone was the most conspicuous items that defined the mobile industry in its days of reign.
