As Nigeria advances its transformation into a digitally-driven economy, cybersecurity remains a national priority. In response to rising cyber threats and the need for enhanced digital infrastructure protection, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in partnership with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), has unveiled the inaugural National Cybersecurity Conference (NCSC 2025), set to take place from July 9–10, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

Unveiled during a press briefing at NITDA’s headquarters in Abuja, NITDA Director General Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi emphasized that while Nigeria’s digital transformation presents vast opportunities, it also introduces complex risks, including cybercrime, data breaches, and threats to national infrastructure.
“This is more than a conference—it’s a national mission. We count on your voices, your expertise, and your commitment to make Nigeria a global leader in cybersecurity,” the DG declared.
