As nHub turns 10, HackJos 2025 is more than a celebration—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of innovators. With the theme “Digital Pathways for MSME Transformation”, the event centers around creating solutions that address real-world pain points faced by small businesses in Nigeria.
“This is not just about code. It’s about solving problems that matter—bringing digital tools to the tailor in Jos, the food vendor in Ibadan, and the fashion entrepreneur in Lagos,” said a spokesperson from nHub.
HackJos 2025: Innovation That Serves People and Builds Businesses
MSMEs account for over 80% of employment and economic activity in Nigeria, yet many remain underserved by digital solutions. HackJos 2025 seeks to change that by challenging participants—developers, designers, and entrepreneurs—to build:
- AI-driven inventory and sales systems
- Digital payment platforms for informal businesses
- Logistics apps for rural supply chains
- Customer analytics and CRM tools
- Low-code platforms for business automation
By bridging the digital divide, these innovations can help MSMEs become more visible, efficient, and scalable.
More Than a Hackathon: A Convergence of Ecosystem Leaders
HackJos 2025 will bring together Nigeria’s tech, policy, business, and investment ecosystems. Attendees will include:
- Startups and tech founders
- Local and international investors
- Policymakers and government agencies
- Development partners and NGOs
- Designers, developers, and product managers
The event features mentorship sessions, workshops, keynote panels, and a demo day where top teams will pitch to investors and judges for funding, incubation, and market access.
