The partnership aligns with the theme of this year’s TEDxAjegunle event, “Beyond Boundaries: Where Limits Become Launchpads,” by providing practical tools that help young professionals transform their ideas into global opportunities.
Poor communication costs African businesses over $200 billion annually
Research indicates that poor communication costs African businesses over $200 billion each year due to unclear messaging and ineffective storytelling. Bloomwit’s scholarship program addresses this directly by offering practical courses in strategic writing, digital communication, and personal branding.
“Africa’s communication gap continues to limit how far ideas and opportunities can travel. Our partnership with TEDxAjegunle is focused on changing that reality,” said Oti Egwu, Chief Advisor at Bloomwit.
“We are giving young Africans the learning they need to articulate ideas clearly and position themselves for greater success.”
The scholarship seeks to solve persistent challenges in the field, including limited access to structured learning and a shortage of trained professionals. By equipping recipients, Bloomwit aims to strengthen the overall caliber of communication across the continent.
TEDxAjegunle is fostering ‘Ideas Worth Spreading
“The core mission of TEDxAjegunle is to foster ‘Ideas Worth Spreading,’ and there is no greater skill than the ability to communicate those ideas strategically,” stated Adetutu Danielle, Lead Organizer of TEDxAjegunle.
“This partnership provides youths, especially from the Ajegunle community, with the skills to turn local inspiration into a global narrative.”
Through this initiative, Bloomwit reinforces its commitment to closing Africa’s communication gap, ensuring professionals and entrepreneurs can express ideas clearly, engage audiences effectively, and unlock new growth.
