NCC warns Nigerians on fake employment letters in circulation

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has warned Nigerians to be wary of fake employment letters in circulation purportedly from the telecom regulator.

The letters are not from the commission, said Director, Public Affairs, Dr. Henry Nkemadu in a statement issued by the telecoms regulator this week in Abuja.

“The public should note that the commission has standard recruitment processes and procedures like any other government organization which the commission strictly abides by,” said Nkemadu as he cautioned the public to disregard such letters which appear to be on the increase as fraudsters hide under the COVID-19 pandemic to dupe innocent Nigerians with false employment letters.
