The initiative aligns with NASENI’s statutory mandate “to develop and maintain a dynamic infrastructure to drive Nigeria’s indigenous industrialisation, job creation, and national progress.”

To accelerate national development, the agency is fostering a culture of public sector innovation. The goal is to unlock new ideas that directly improve service delivery and drive progress.

Harnessing Innovation for National Development

The competition seeks to encourage public servants to develop innovative solutions that address some of Nigeria’s most pressing socio-economic challenges. NASENI said the programme is focused on leveraging science, technology, and engineering to improve efficiency, productivity, and impact across government institutions.

According to the agency, the initiative will also deepen inter-agency collaboration by creating a platform where MDAs can share ideas, best practices, and scalable solutions.
