Known as the ‘Oscars of the Mobile Ecosystem,’ the 21st edition of the awards will gather the global mobile industry to recognize outstanding creativity, excellence, and innovation over the past year.
Open Nomination Process: Anyone Can Submit
The nomination process is open to all, with no requirement to be a member of MEF (Mobile Ecosystem Forum). Companies, products, services, or individuals that have made a significant impact in the mobile ecosystem in 2025 are eligible. The scope is broad, covering any mobile-specific innovation, technology, or initiative.
Multiple Category Submissions Allowed
Organizations are encouraged to nominate themselves across multiple categories. A single company can submit up to 10 different entries, provided each submission features a distinct product or service relevant to the respective category. This allows for comprehensive recognition of diverse innovations within the same organization.
A Platform for the Next Generation of Mobile Experiences
The MEFFYS 2026 will spotlight the technologies, companies, and individuals driving the next generation of mobile experiences. With nine core award categories plus a Special Award, the event continues to serve as a benchmark for excellence and a catalyst for industry advancement.

- Content & Advertising – What has been the most innovative content or advertising service for mobile users in 2026?
- Payments & Commerce – What has been the most innovative Mobile Payment service showcasing usability and security?
- ID & Data – What has been the best innovation in the area of Authentication in the past 12 months?
- Connectivity & Wholesale – What has been the most innovative solution for connectivity or global roaming this year?
- Messaging Channels – What has been the most innovative messaging service enabling richer communication and engagement for mobile users?
- Omnichannel Customer Experience – What has been the most impactful Omnichannel enterprise comms campaign this year?
- Mobile Evolution – What has been the most ground-breaking advancement in mobile technology or networks in the past year?
- Antifraud – What has been the best antifraud solution protecting mobile users and networks against emerging threats?
- ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance – What initiative has made the greatest impact in advancing sustainability, social responsibility, or corporate governance in the mobile industry?
- Special Award: Personal Contribution to the Mobile Ecosystem – The person who has distinguished themselves for their Contribution to the mobile ecosystem advancement with impactful innovations, significant collaborations and/or consistent consumer protection
Oscars of the Mobile Industry’ to be unveiled in Barcelona
The winners will be announced live at ‘The Oscars of the Mobile Industry’ in Barcelona at the 21st MEFFYS Awards Ceremony on Sunday March 1, 2026
