The 2026 edition of the hackathon is themed “Smart Systems: The Intelligent Economy.” Participants are challenged to design and build intelligent, data-driven solutions that redefine how individuals, communities, and businesses interact with money in a rapidly digitising economy.

The competition brings together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs from across Nigeria to collaborate and create practical innovations spanning key sectors such as financial services, healthcare, commerce, and digital inclusion.
