- Facial recognition sign-up and activation
- Instant virtual credit card issuance for secure online transactions
- Direct credit card activation from the app
- Flexible salary advance options with up to 3-month repayment
- Performance enhancements and bug fixes
At the core of the update is the facial biometric login. This allows users to securely register or activate the app using facial recognition technology. Built with anti-spoofing detection, this feature strengthens account protection. It also eliminates dependence on physical cards or OTPs—making mobile banking more secure and inclusive.
The feature is particularly beneficial for:
- New customers
- Diaspora users without access to physical cards
- Individuals with lost or expired cards
- Users who have opted out of card use
- Customers experiencing card verification issues
The addition of virtual credit cards provides users with a safe, instantly accessible way to shop online, while the instant activation of physical credit cards allows customers to start using their cards the moment they’re issued.
Furthermore, the salary advance option introduces a flexible loan solution, offering quick access to funds with a convenient 3-month repayment window, empowering users with better financial control.
