EFCC Chairman Olukoyede to Address WorldStage Economic Summit 2025

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has confirmed his participation as a keynote speaker at the WorldStage Economic Summit (WES) 2025, scheduled for Friday, November 21, 2025, in Lagos.

Olukoyede—whose leadership has driven unprecedented anti-corruption successes, including the recovery of over N566 billion in two years—will speak on “Anti-Corruption Efforts of the EFCC to Boost Ease of Doing Business.”

The summit’s theme for 2025 is “Tackling the Issue of Low Productivity in Nigeria.”

Nigeria’s Productivity Crisis Must Be Fixed — WorldStage CEO

President/CEO of World Stage Limited, Mr. Segun Adeleye, reiterated that low productivity remains one of Nigeria’s biggest economic challenges, despite ongoing reforms.

Adeleye noted that nearly half of Nigeria’s population remains in poverty because the economy is not creating high-productivity jobs.
