CRC Unveils Next-Generation Mobile App for Secure, Seamless Credit Access
CRC Credit Bureau, Nigeria’s leading credit bureau and one of Africa’s foremost financial data institutions, has launched a newly enhanced CRC Mobile App, marking a major step in redefining digital credit management and financial service delivery.

The upgraded application reinforces CRC’s commitment to digital innovation, customer-centric service, and expanded financial inclusion by providing individuals and businesses with secure, seamless access to credit information and essential financial services on a single platform.
From Credit Reports to a Full Digital Financial Platform
Originally introduced in 2019, the CRC Mobile App enabled users to access credit reports and related products. While it represented a milestone in improving access to credit intelligence, the initial version had limited functionality, basic security features, and minimal service integration.
Users also faced challenges such as separate login credentials for web and mobile platforms, slower credit report delivery, and a user interface that no longer met evolving digital expectations.
In response to the rapid growth of Nigeria’s digital financial ecosystem and rising demand for secure, integrated services, CRC undertook a comprehensive redesign—culminating in the 2026 launch of the new CRC Mobile App.
Advanced Security with Biometric Authentication
A key highlight of the redesigned app is enhanced security through biometric login, allowing users to securely access their accounts using fingerprint authentication and facial recognition.
This feature delivers faster login while maintaining strict data protection standards, significantly strengthening platform security and user confidence.
Integrated Wallet and Seamless Transactions
The new CRC Mobile App introduces an in-app wallet system, enabling users to top up balances and conduct transactions seamlessly within the platform.
To enhance privacy and control, the wallet includes a show/hide balance option, allowing users to manage their financial visibility when accessing the app in public or shared environments.
Utility Payments and Everyday Financial Services
Beyond credit intelligence, the upgraded app now supports everyday digital transactions. Users can conveniently pay for utilities and services such as electricity, airtime, mobile data, and cable television subscriptions—all within a secure, unified ecosystem.
This positions the CRC Mobile App as a multifunctional digital finance platform that simplifies routine payments while reducing transaction friction.
Expanding Access to Financial Education
In line with CRC’s mission to deepen financial literacy and capacity building, users can now register directly for training programmes offered by the CRC Financial Education Centre (CFEC) through the mobile app.
This integration makes professional development more accessible and reinforces CRC’s role in strengthening financial capability across Nigeria’s financial services market.
