Check Point unveils four-pillar AI security strategy, announces new acquisitions of Cyata, Cyclops and Rotate

Check Point Software Technologies has announced three strategic acquisitions—Cyata, Cyclops and Rotate—aimed at reinforcing its unified cybersecurity platform across AI agent security, exposure management and managed service provider (MSP)-driven workspace protection.

The company also unveiled a comprehensive four-pillar strategy designed to help organisations securely navigate the rapidly evolving AI era.

“As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms enterprise operations—from employee productivity tools to autonomous systems—it is also fundamentally reshaping the cyber threat landscape. To address this shift, Check Point is advancing a unified, prevention-first platform designed to secure the full scope of modern enterprise environments,” said Lorna Hardie, Regional Director for Africa at Check Point.

The Four Pillars Powering Check Point’s AI Security Vision

At the core of Check Point’s strategy are four tightly integrated pillars that reflect how organisations operate in today’s hybrid and AI-driven environments:

Hybrid Mesh Network Security
This pillar secures distributed enterprises across hybrid cloud infrastructures, data centres, branch offices and internet environments using a unified, AI-powered architecture.

Workspace Security
Workspace Security focuses on protecting the modern digital workspace—including endpoints, browsers, email, SaaS applications and collaboration platforms—where users increasingly interact with AI-enabled tools.

Exposure Management
Exposure Management delivers comprehensive visibility across an organisation’s attack surface, enabling risk prioritisation based on business context rather than fragmented alerts.

AI Security
AI Security safeguards the full lifecycle of AI adoption, from employee use of AI tools to enterprise AI applications and autonomous AI agents.

These capabilities are delivered through Check Point’s open platform, often described as an “open garden” model, which integrates seamlessly with existing security ecosystems while maintaining a prevention-first, multi-vendor approach.

Leadership Outlook: Securing Enterprise AI Transformation

“In 2026, our strategy is centred on securing our customers’ AI transformation across the enterprise,” said Nadav Zafrir, CEO of Check Point.

“We are executing against our four strategic pillars—Hybrid Mesh, Workspace and Exposure Management—while embedding AI-driven security throughout our entire portfolio.”

The acquisitions of Cyata, Cyclops and Rotate are key enablers of this long-term vision.

How the Acquisitions Strengthen the Platform

Cyata: Advancing AI Agent Security
Founded in 2024, Cyata delivers an AI agent identity management platform that enables organisations to discover active AI agents, map permissions, monitor behaviour and enforce automated security policies.

Its acquisition accelerates Check Point’s mission to deliver end-to-end AI security, providing deep visibility and governance across endpoint and SaaS environments.

Cyclops: Expanding Exposure Management and CTEM
Founded in 2021, Cyclops provides a Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platform that consolidates data across cloud, on-premises, OT and SaaS environments.

The acquisition enhances Check Point’s Exposure Management offering and supports a complete Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) solution with continuous asset discovery and monitoring.

“The Cyata acquisition further expands our AI security stack, enabling full discovery, governance and control of AI agents as organisations accelerate their AI journeys,” Zafrir added.

Rotate: Boosting MSP-Focused Workspace Protection
Rotate, an all-in-one platform purpose-built for managed service providers, strengthens centralised protection for distributed workforces and SaaS environments.

Check Point acquired Rotate’s talent to further accelerate its growing Workspace Security momentum within the MSP market.

A Unified Framework for the AI-Driven Threat Landscape

Roi Karo, Chief Strategy Officer at Check Point, said the company’s approach reflects a fundamental rethink of cybersecurity in the age of AI.

“As AI reshapes how organisations operate and how threats evolve, security must be fundamentally reimagined. Our four-pillar strategy provides a clear framework to secure networks, workspaces, exposure risks and AI-driven environments through a single, unified platform. These acquisitions demonstrate how we are executing on that vision.”
