Africa’s Elite Teams Compete in Lagos for Esports Glory
The Carry1st Africa Cup 2025 Grand Finals will take place on August 30–31 at the D Podium International Event Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. The event will feature eight elite Call of Duty®: Mobile teams from across Africa competing for a $15,000 prize pool. Added is the chance to represent the continent for the first time at the Call of Duty®: Mobile World Championship 2025. This carries an $850,000 prize pool.

Nigeria’s own Sierra7, fresh off back-to-back national championship wins, will battle against South Africa’s ParadoX. Others are Ghana’s Aura 233, Egypt’s Bear Clan, Kenya’s Delta eSports, Uganda’s Nondescript Gaming, and Senegal’s Sage Gaming.
