Also present were representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Accountant General, and the Finance and Planning Commission, underscoring a unified government approach to digital reform.
The task force’s mandate is to ensure all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) fully comply with Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s digital transformation vision before the end of 2025.
It will enforce digital governance standards, monitor implementation across MDAs, and oversee the integration of e-services throughout the state’s administrative systems — positioning Benue State for a new era of efficiency, transparency, and innovation.
Digital Skills Training Strengthens Civil Service Capacity
In a related development, BDIC and the Office of the Head of Service concluded the Train-the-Trainers Programme for the final batch of 108 civil servants.
The training focused on Digital Document Management Systems (DDMS), Digital Workflow Systems, and the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). It entailed equipping participants to support the digital transformation of other MDAs.
This initiative reinforces the state government’s commitment to building a digitally skilled workforce capable of driving smart governance and technology-enabled service delivery.
