The 12th edition of Angel Fair Africa (AFA@12), themed “Building and Investing in Africa”, will be hosted at the Google NYC office on 19th September 2025.

The event will gather leading builders and investors shaping Africa’s startup and investment landscape.
Startup Builders Share Groundbreaking Experiences
Renowned entrepreneurs will share insights on building successful companies, funds, accelerators, and incubators across Africa. Speakers include:
- Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Managing Partner of Accelerate Africa and co-founder of Andela and Flutterwave
- Barbara Iyayi, co-founder of Liquid Credit and active investor
- Benjamin Fernandes, CEO of NALA and founding partner of P1 Ventures
- Alexandre N’djore, CEO of Digitech, Côte d’Ivoire
The session will be moderated by Otema Yirenkyi of Nviron Hive, Ghana.
Global Investors Share Selection Criteria
The investors’ panel will explore criteria for selecting founders, success stories from portfolio companies, and strategies for scaling African startups. Featured investors include:

The day will begin with a fireside keynote featuring Arcangel Esther Dyson of Term Limits, USA, in conversation with Eric Osiakwan of Chanzo Capital, Ghana. Dyson will share her unique cross-continental investment experience, with a preview of her forthcoming book “Term Limit” (due in 2027).
