Almond has announced the creation of a Center of Expertise dedicated to Identity and Access Management (IAM), signaling a strategic push into a field that has become central to modern cybersecurity architectures.

The center will be led by Steeve Carette, a veteran with over twenty-five years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, recruited to accelerate Almond’s deployment of large-scale IAM programs and structure its offerings around digital identity governance.
Building on several years of proven IAM expertise—further strengthened through its partnership with French software vendor Memority—Almond is positioning the new center to support clients in governing digital identities, a core pillar of any robust cybersecurity strategy.
Why IAM Now?
IAM now sits at the core of modern attack chains, as well as compliance and operational performance frameworks. Account compromises, privilege abuse, and governance shortcomings are among the leading risk factors in information systems that are increasingly open and interconnected.
At the same time, the IAM market is experiencing strong acceleration, driven by:
- Cloud migrations
- Renewal of existing legacy solutions
- Tightening regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
Mastering identities has therefore become a strategic issue for organizations and critical environments.
“The creation of this Center of Expertise reflects a strong conviction: IAM has become a foundational pillar of cybersecurity architectures and a key driver of information system performance,” said Jean-François Aliotti and Olivier Pantaleo, Co-CEOs of Almond.
“By creating this Center of Expertise and placing it under the responsibility of Steeve Carette, we are scaling up to deploy high-stakes IAM programs and provide our clients with the means to sustainably control their identity environments. For them, it is a major lever for trust, compliance, and resilience.”
What the IAM Center Will Deliver
Almond’s IAM Center of Expertise will address all challenges related to digital identities, including:
- Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Strong authentication (SSO, MFA)
This integrated approach enables companies to simultaneously meet needs across:
- Security
- Regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, and more)
- Scalability and standardization of IT processes
Steeve Carette Appointed to Lead the Center
The leadership of the Center of Expertise has been entrusted to Steeve Carette, who brings over twenty-five years of experience in IT and cybersecurity gained within major organizations such as Nexity, Accenture, and Capgemini.
His mission will be to:
- Develop Almond’s IAM offerings
- Unite existing expertise across the organization
- Build a dedicated team capable of supporting the group’s clients in their strategic IAM projects
