Delivering the keynote address, T2 CEO, Obafemi Banigbe, outlined an inspiring vision of Akwa Ibom as Nigeria’s next digital innovation hub, capable of producing tech unicorns similar to Flutterwave and Paystack.

“I believe this state has the capacity to lead in building software solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, and vibrant startup ecosystems. Akwa Ibom is poised to become a genuine digital goldmine for this region,” Banigbe stated.

He underscored that investment in people and skills is key to realizing this vision, noting that the future of Nigeria’s economy lies in digital education and human capital development, not oil.
